AquaBlade by Ideal Standard wins Best Plumbing or Drainage Product

AquaBlade flush technology from Ideal Standard won Best Plumbing or Drainage Product at the Build It Awards 2016, the self-build industry’s most prestigious award ceremony.

The judges were impressed with AquaBlade’s exclusive and patented technology, which offers the best superior flushing performance ever and sets new standards in toilet design, all at low water volumes.

Ideal Standard received the award at last week’s ceremony, hosted by comedian Tim Vine, which took place at London’s Hilton Bankside.

AquaBlade technology provides the highest standard in both toilet design and optimum flush performance – the smooth, gently curved surface with no overhanging rim also means it is much more hygienic and as easy to clean than any other toilet currently available.

AquaBlade’s ability to operate at low flushing volumes means it has excellent energy saving capabilities, helping selfbuilders achieve sustainability targets and reducing future energy bills. What’s more, the system is incredibly simple to maintain.
