Our Commitments 

We are taking steps towards achieving and reporting on our environmental, social and governance goals, constantly pushing ourselves to think differently and implement changes that make a real difference. 

 

Decarbonisation

Like all manufacturers of energy-intensive products such as ceramics, the technical challenges that need to be overcome in both direct manufacturing and national infrastructure at large. So achieving carbon neutrality across our business is no easy feat, but it's an essential way we're working to create a better tomorrow. 

We are actively working towards reducing our CO₂ emissions to achieve carbon neutrality but what have we achieved so far?

Sustainable Packaging

We are proud to develop a circular and environmentally positive process by using recyclable and  sustainable materials throughout the creation of our products. 

After changing to using 75% recycled plastic in our pallet bags in 2019, we've saved 712 tonnes of plastic.

By removing all shrink wrap from our ceramic products, we're saving 170,00kg of plastic each year.  

Resources & Recycling 

In 2019 we launched our ambitious zero-waste to landfill initiative to positively transform our environmental impact.

Considering Every Detail - Environmental Product Declarations

Our cradle-to-grave environmental product declarations (EPDs) are the most detailed type available, meaning we provide complete transparency on the entire life cycle of our manufactured products. 

EPDs help our customers to understand the environmental impact of our products, containing detailed and independently verified information such as the product's energy and resource consumption, the amount of carbon emitted during production and the impact of emitted substances such as gases, liquids and particles. 
 

Sustainable Products & Technologies 

We develop products that help users save on water usage and reduce energy consumption, without compromising on experience or quality. 


Our industry leading knowledge, skills and experience have been brought to a range of intelligently designed products, such as Intellimix®, which uses 85% less water when compared to standard single lever taps, and FirmaFlow®, which reduces energy usage by up to 50% with its  BlueStart® Technology.
