Used to control the flow of water into a basin. Pillar taps control the flow of hot and cold water independantly to give the desired flow rate and water temperature. Basin mixers mix hot and cold water to give the desired flow rate and water temperature from a single spout. Basin mixers come in either single lever or dual control versions where either one or two controls are used to vary the flow rate and temperature.
