Linda-X was first revealed at Ideal Standard’s Together WorldTour event in Milan in 2021 and is a reimagining of the Linda collectioncreated in 1977 by Achille Castiglioni. The new range, inspired by theoriginal, has been designed by Palomba Serafini Associati (PS+A) and is part ofthe premium Atelier Collections.
The range, which comprises stunning basins alongside an elegant,freestanding bathtub, stands out for its lightweight design, with fine, curvedlines and thin ceramic edges that beautifully meet the needs of contemporaryliving.
Linda-X is made with Ideal Standard’s unique Diamatec® material,which allows for the creation of lightweight ceramics with ultra-thin edges.This mix of alumina and chamotte not only results in a fine ceramic, which isvisually appealing, but also guarantees extra durability and reduces the numberof raw materials used in production. The basins also have a weightless,floating element due to the innovative positioning of their stands.
The Linda-X basin range is available in five sizes, spanning 450mmto 750mm, with both one and three taphole versions available. The differentsizes mean the basins can complement any bathroom, able to fit into smallerspaces such as ensuites or guest bathrooms or enhance larger spaces incombination with the freestanding bath. The basins also come in two colours: glossywhite and silk white, which seamlessly integrate with the modern-day bathroom.
