New Markwik 21 and 21+ Healthcare fittings training

Does thermostatic tap purging cause you problems?

Does the thought of cleaning the inlet strainers stress you?

And would you like to be better able to diagnose supply or temperature issues with your Armitage Shanks thermostatic fittings, quickly and easily on-site?

We have developed a new thermostatic taps training session, that can help address the above and many other maintenance issues.

The session - which is free to all NHS healthcare providers -  has been developed specifically for the needs of healthcare providers operating Armitage Shanks thermostatic taps and is delivered, on hospital and clinical premises by our team of specialist Service Engineers.

Our objective is to provide customers with best practice knowledge that can help prevent unnecessary resource downtime and the incursion of costs

All that customers are required to provide, is an installed and working Markwik 21 or Markwik 21+ in a room away from patient treatment areas, that can be used for the duration of the training session.

The maximum size of a training group is 6; from experience we have found that the benefits decrease in sessions above this size, as fewer are able to participate in hands-on activities.

The training session lasts approximately 2 hours and covers the following:

-First time commissioning and use of Markwik 21+ taps
-Temperature setting (stop rings and lever position)
-Purging & Water Sampling
-Cartridge replacement
-Fault finding and diagnosis inc’ fitting strip down and component identification
-In service checks HTM04-01
-Thermal cleanse
-Bioguard and POU filters
-Autoclaving and disinfection

Those who will primarily benefit from this training include estates department engineers, contracts personnel responsible for safe water delivery and authorising engineers.
